USA Study Tour Opportunity

Tasmanian Women in Agriculture have put together a fantastic opportunity for our States farm women to tour North America.
Kicking off in Oregon, the worlds largest grass seed producing region, our TWiA members will be hosted by members of their sister organisation Women FOR Agriculture.
Following a five night stay with host families in different parts of Oregon, the group proceeds to Boise, Idaho, for a further 4 nights with hosts. A highlight of their time in Idaho is a visit to the Boise Farmers Market.
The tour will then move to Saskatoon in Canada for three nights before returning to Tasmania.
President of Tasmanian Women in Agriculture, Annette Reed, said ‘it is a great opportunity to visit three very different regions and view North American agricultural production close at hand. By being hosted by families on farm, participants have the opportunity of a once in a life time trip’.
Places will be limited, so be quick.
For further information, please call 0438 026 918

Please find attached an invitation to apply for a leadership role to lead the TWiA 2016 study tour to North America. This is a very good opportunity to hone and build skills, to see some beautiful parts of the Americas, to meet a number of farming families, all while having your trip subsidised.

Please contact Annette for further details and an application form. (if I don’t answer, leave a message on my mobile and I’ll call back).
M: 0438 009 522

We have enough numbers for the trip to go ahead (still a few spaces available) if you are interested just as a participant.
