Through your visit to the web site (www.twia.org.au) or as a member of Tasmanian Women in Agriculture, if you are involved in web discussions, chat rooms, member logins and visits to pages, Tasmanian Women in Agriculture (TWiA) will be able to record your visits and usage of the web site. If you are not a member but a visitor to the site, your server address, domain name, date and time of visit and the pages you have accessed may also be recorded. Any information that is recorded will be for our own statistical information and individual information will not be released to third parties. No attempt will be made to identify users of the site unless in the unlikely event of an investigation where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to visit a service provider's logs etc.

 

Personal Information Protection (PIP) Act

Should you wish to become a member on the web site, your personal contact details will be required. We are required to inform you that this information is collected and stored in accordance with the principles of the Personal Information Protection Act 2004. This means that the information will only be used for Tasmanian Women in Agriculture purposes. Your information will not be distributed to a third party, unless required by law, and then only in strict accordance with the PIP Act.
